Well, here is a bit of a different wedding…

Derek (one of my roommates for the past couple of years) just got hitched in Germany last month to the German love of his life – Maren. Small detail they needed to attend to was the whole legal thing… in the eyes of the state they were doig the concubine thing :) But now, they’re legit! haha…

We went and picked Derek up during his lunch break and shot off to the Dupage County Court to get em hitched (again).  Here are a few stills I shot of the event…

And Since I was shooting with the 5d mkii, I took the liberty to capture a bit of HD video of the big moments… Enjoy the video (or don’t). :)

Just as a sidenote, that is the most roles I’v ever had in a wedding: Groomsman (witness), photographer, and videographer… :D That must score points for Gryffyndor.

it’s the most rewarding thing on earth to figure out how to make a kid laugh. Ok, that sounds a lot like a Hyperbole… but you get my drift. Elissa and Tanner’s little girl Zoey was gladly entertained by my camera… and by her parents… and maybe even by a bit of Beyonce playing on a cell phone to make her dance. Catch some of this family love.

Just last month I had the privilege of shooting Tanya & Aaron’s wedding right here in Wheaton! (I do love the 5 min commute)! They got married in what I believe is the most beautiful church in this humble western suburb – Gary United Methodist Church. It was a fantastically beautiful day and we had so much fun (really, I’m not lying, it was fun!)

So much bliss in one day, thanks for letting me share in it.
