A few weeks ago was my dear girlfriend Bethany's birthday... so I took her on a helicopter ride around Chicago at sunset. Just because I think she is great...and Groupon had a deal.
we started this madness off at Midway airport... and within a minute we were swooping between highrises.
This is Jon, our pilot, he told us jokes and gave us random facts about everything we could possible want to know. And all of this talking happened via the fat chopper headphones... twas awesome.
Me doing my half smile... it's pretty ironic... being a photographer, I never know what to do when the camera points my way. I need to work on that. 
My conclusions: Taking your girlfriend out on a helicopter ride is a good thing :)
