I grew up in a big Franco-American family in the Alps of Southern France. The sun-kissed mountain landscapes gave me a deep appreciation for beauty, and my family taught me how to connect with other cultures. My journey led me to Chicago for college, a thrilling and challenging transition. My new American friends couldn’t grasp all the silent letters in my name, Timothee Tabailloux, and began calling me Tim Tab.

In 2007, after capturing my first wedding for a friend, I decided to pursue wedding photography. This career has been profoundly fulfilling. Over the years, my work has filled the pages of publications such as BRIDES Magazine, Town & Country, Style Me Pretty, Modern Luxury and Martha Stewart. I take pride in being recognized as one of the TOP TEN wedding photographers in Chicago by Wezoree.

Beyond the lens, my greatest joy comes from being a husband and father of four. Running a small business offers me the flexibility to bend my professional life around my family’s needs, allowing me to be the kind of dad I always hoped to be.

With over 500 weddings under my belt, I feel a deep sense of gratitude at having been chosen to witness and capture the fleeting moments that mark the formation of a new family. My style is a blend of joy and elegance, where I emphasize authentic expressions over rigid poses. I love to set couples in stunning locations and offer prompts that encourage spontaneity. When I’m not directing portraits, I am immersed in capturing candids and wild moves on the dance floor.
